Rates, Billing, and Payment Information

 

We aim to provide efficient and reliable sewer services to our valued customers. In this section, you will find important information about rates, billing, and payment options to ensure a smooth experience with our district.
 

Billing Schedule:

Lake Adelle Sewer District issues bills on a quarterly basis. The billing months are as follows:

  1. March

  2. June

  3. September

  4. December
     

Please be sure to review your bill carefully, as it contains important information regarding payment details.
 

Payment Due Date:

Payment for sewer services is due on the 30th of the billing month. To avoid incurring late fees, payments must be paid or postmarked prior to the 30th.

Accepted Payment Methods:

We offer multiple payment methods to provide convenience and flexibility to our customers. Please note the following options for submitting your payment:

  1. Mail-in Payments: We accept payments via mail in the form of checks or money orders. Please ensure that cash is not included in your mailed payment.

    • Mailing Address: Lake Adelle Sewer PO Box 231 Cedar Hill, MO 63016​​

  2. Online Payments: For secure and hassle-free transactions, we have partnered with PayPal to accept online payments. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service. Please be aware that a processing fee will be added to online payments.

    • 1-month payment option: Make a single payment every month.

    • 3-month payment option: Pay for three months.

    • Annual payment option: Pay for the entire year upfront, providing long-term financial planning and savings.
       

Late Payment Fees:

If payment is received after the 30th of the billing month, a flat rate late fee of $50 will be applied to your account. To avoid late fees, please ensure that your payment is made or postmarked before the due date.
 

Disconnection Policy:

In the event that payment is not made in full (including the late fee) by the 15th of the following month, or if no payment arrangements have been made prior with the Sewer's bookkeeper, your sewer service may be disconnected.
 

Reconnection Fee:

If your sewer service has been disconnected, a reconnection fee of $650 will be charged in addition to any outstanding payments. This fee must be paid in full before your service can be restored.
 

Please note that if your sewer service is disconnected, your water supply will also be shut off as a result. In addition to the reconnection fee, an extra fee of $70 will be charged by Lake Adelle Property Owners.
 

We encourage you to make timely payments and reach out to our Sewer District's bookkeeper to discuss any payment concerns or to make necessary arrangements. If you need to make arrangements, you must call prior to the due date. We are here to assist you and ensure that your sewer services remain uninterrupted.

Online Payments

All payments made through our online platform will be subject to a processing fee ranging between $5 and $15. Kindly note that this fee is subject to change at any time, as we continually review and adjust our pricing structure to ensure the best possible service.

Furthermore, we would like to remind you that, based on the decision made during the 3/7/18 Lake Adelle Property Owners Board meeting, water payments cannot be made using PayPal on our platform.
